Hometown: Fayetteville, AR
Height: 5’4”
What are some of your hobbies besides soccer?
Reading Harry Potter books, painting, and going to the lake
What things other than soccer are you involved in at the University
of Arkansas?
Arkansas Athletes Outreach (Bible
studies and community service events), Leadership team at University
Baptist Church, Student-Athlete Advisory Council, volunteer at 7
Hill Homeless Shelter
You have been chosen as the Champions of Character representative
for Responsibility because you have demonstrated that quality in
your life.
How do you think you learned to be a responsible person?
Being on a competitive soccer team
really helped me learn this because I had to pour all my extra
energy into the soccer team. This forced me to be organized and
responsible with my time so I could fit it all into my daily
schedule.
What are some responsibilities you have as a student?
Going to all my classes, doing my
homework, and getting assignments from progessors BEFORE I leave
town for soccer games
As an athlete?
Going to practice and giving 100%,
being on time and being prepared for each practice, and
communicating well with my teammates and coaches
As a friend?
Communicating with them and putting
their needs before mine
What helps you to make sure you fulfill all of your
responsibilities?
My planner! It helps me to keep track of all the things I need to do
each day so that I don’t forget anything. Sometimes I have others
hold me accountable to the things I am supposed to do.
Have you ever neglected any of your responsibilities?
A few times.
What happened?
I was late to practice one time, and
I had to clean everyone’s shoes for that whole week of practice and
vacuum the locker room!
