AAO TEAMS PLAY IN THE NWA LEAGUE

 2015-2016 SEASON

 NWA League

Description: In 2009, AAO formed a basketball development program, the NWA League.  This preparatory system places a heavy emphasis on individual basketball skills, fundamentals, and concepts that will be required of student athletes to play on the junior and senior high school level.

Season Length:  The NWA League is implemented over a two semester period, fall and spring, beginning with the Tip-Off Classic on November 7, 2015, through the Championship Tournament on February 6/7, 2015  (one snow date, February13/14, 2015, if needed).

League Play: League games are played on Saturdays at the AAO P. Whitaker Sports Center in Fayetteville.  Each team will play an 18 game regular season plus a Championship Tournament with a 2 game guarantee.

Admission Fees: The NWA League does not charge admission fees to regular season games.  There will be a nominal gate fee for the AAO  Tip-Off Classic and the Post Season  Championship Tournament.

Teams:   The NWA League consists of invited teams- Boys and Girls - 5th, 6th & 7th grade divisions with teams from Bentonville, Springdale, Rogers, and Fayetteville (Big 4), schools as well as some private and county league schools.

THANK YOU, LINDSEY, FOR SUPPORTING AAO TEAMS!!
