Individual Training Workouts
 Individual Training Workouts

Since the May 11 state reopening, our Gym is open for private training workouts to be scheduled with our AAO training staff.

Our plan to keep you safe
What we are doing to keep YOU safe inside our gyms
  • Temperature Check:
Thermal temperature tools. Every player will have their temperature taken before every workout. If a player has a temperature 100.4 or greater, they will be asked to leave the building.
  • Hands Sanitized:
Bottles of hand sanitizer will be available and require all players/coaches use the sanitizer before and after each workout.
  • Ball Cleaning:
Roll towels and ball-cleaning solution will be available.  Coaches/Team managers  will make sure balls get wiped down before and after each workout.
  • Friendly Distance:
No high fives, fist bumps or touching player to player or player to trainer. Maintain social distancing among all players and coaches in the gym.
  • Masks Directive in Arkansas:
Adults, Trainers, Coaches wear protective masks.  Children ages 10 and up must wear when they are not participating in a practice, game or workout.  NOTE: Face coverings may be removed in order to consume food or beverage but should be in place immediately afterwards.
  • Family Seating:
On Game days: Parents and siblings will be allowed in the gym, according to the attendance rules of the season, (ask your coach for the specifics regarding your season.  Some are completely closed, others partial...) All must maintain spacing while standing or seated in the bleachers.  Siblings are not allowed to roam the building and must remain seated with a parent.
On Practice/Workout days: Parents are asked to bring their child inside and pick them up, but not stay to view the workout.  Parents are welcome to assist coaches with the check-in procedures.  There are supplies readily available, thermometer, hand sanitizer and sanitizer for sports gear that will be used.  #Teamwork
  • Grades 1 and 2:  We have always had our programs open to parents and this will remain so for grades 1 and 2.  Grades 1 and 2 children may have their parent remain for the workouts and we ask that parents comply with mask and social distancing directives of our state.

    Build Community:
  • Kindness, respect and encouragement help us all navigate this difficult time.   We always welcome feedback for improvement as well as your offers to volunteer to manage any weakness you may observe.  We are a sports family and we all agree that we deeply love our children.  For months now, during the mask directive, children have not seen smiling faces from adults in public spaces.  We always want for AAO to be a place of life-giving culture and community.  We aren't "high-fiving" at this time, but consider saying, "hi!" and include a friendly wave in our interactions.
