At AAO our mission is to Build Champions for Life through the Transformational Power of Sports. Our audience is made up youth and families from many ethnicities represented in NW Arkansas. We work hard to create a transformational culture in our facility and through our programs so that people are inspired to live a life of excellence.

As we observe the tension in our nation around difficult topics, we want to be a part of helping to build positive relationships in our community as well as creating opportunities for people to talk about hard topics in a way that builds people up through empathy and a desire for unity through diversity.

AAO is partnering with local law enforcement agencies (Washington County Sheriff, Fayetteville Police, University of Arkansas Police) and other local non-profit organizations (Potter’s House, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Spark Foundation, Mount Sequoyah, CASA of Northwest Arkansas, Central EMS, The Grove Church) to host a Community Block Party featuring a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. We want to use the transformational power of sports to help build a bridge between our law enforcement agencies and our families.
