If your child did not make the team this year, please know this is not a statement about their basketball future. We strongly encourage you to find the best possible coach and play on a team at the most competitive level you can find locally. More than anything else, work on the fundamentals and skills of the game, specifically ball handling, Left/Right handed layups, and shooting. AAO basketball training programs are designed for and attended by all levels of players, not limited to AAO team members. Consider basketball training classes. As well, our friends at the Fayetteville Boys & Girls Club provide a fine resource for recreational basketball team participation.

No matter where you find skill development, players who want to improve, commit yourself to working hard over the next year and come out strong for your next tryout!

Coach Rose guided the Indians of Ramay for 6 seasons, winning 3 conference championships and 1 regional runner-up. For the past 2 seasons, he has been a member of the FHS Bulldogs staff, coaching the White 9th grade team to a conference and regional championship in 2015-2016.
Coach Rose is married to Leah, an 8th grade teacher at Ramay JH. They have 2 sons: Alex, in 6th grade at Holt MS & Jake, in 1st grade at Holcomb Elementary.
Coach Rose has a simple but powerful philosophy when it comes to the teams he coaches: “I just want my teams to play hard, play smart, play together, and have fun. I’ve found that when teams do all four of those things, they will be successful.”
