Here is the plan we will follow:

-We will proceed with the Playoff Games as they are currently scheduled. Our goal is to play as many games as the weather will permit. Most likely games are going to be played in the rain.

-Once the games begin it will be a game by game, on-site decision as we continue to monitor the weather.

-Please make sure to dress accordingly.

We will continue to monitor the weather and if any dramatic changes happen, current or in the forecast, and we feel, for player and fan safety, we need to cancel the games.. we will.

-Game Updates (delays and cancellations) will be posted on our website homepage: https://www.aaoteam.org/ Check there for any updates.

-We will follow AAA Rules and Guidelines for inclement weather. That means if lighting is spotted in a 12-15 mile proximity the game will go immediately into a 30 minute delay. The stadium will need to be cleared. If no more lighting strikes the game will resume. At any point, if the Lighting strikes again within proximity, the 30 min timer starts again. If heavy rains and winds come then the Director of Officials will discuss with Coaches and make a call weather to cancel/reschedule or delay for 30 minutes.

-Whatever Games cannot be played on Saturday those games will be played next Wednesday, November 1st at the following Stadiums:

-Silver Division Playoff Games

Heritage HS Stadium

(Specific games and times will be sent out on Sunday/Monday after Saturday game results)

-Gold Division Playoff Games

Harber HS Stadium

Rogers HS Stadium

(Specific games, sites and times will be sent out on Sunday/Monday after Saturday game results)

-GFL Championship Games

Saturday, November 4th

Gold Division: Rogers HS Stadium

Silver Division: Harber HS Stadium

Again, please realize there is no perfect plan that will meet everyone's desires, team prep/practice schedules, stadium venue availability, family conflicts, weather, etc.  Our directors have been actively working together to arrive at the best decisions possible for our children.
