Since its formation in 2009, the NWA League has grown to become the biggest and best competitive youth basketball league in the state of Arkansas, serving over 130 teams annually, throughout the Northwest Arkansas region and beyond.
The NWA League is a community and school based program to help prepare young athletes for the competitive play of Junior High school basketball. With the guidance of high school coaches, a heavy emphasis is placed on individual basketball skills, team concepts and regional competition.
The league consists of teams from Alma, Bentonville, Farmington, Fayetteville, Neosho, Pea Ridge, Rogers, Siloam Springs, Springdale, as well as other communities, private and Home Schools. The NWA League gives young student athletes an unprecedented level of competition in an incredible environment to develop their skill and love of the sport.
NWA League Coaches work to help instill the qualities of hard work, team work, responsibility, perseverance, excellence, gratitude, and empathy in the student athletes. We are especially grateful to all the coaches who invest their time, talent and resources to teach and mentor our kids. Their leadership and the power of sports transforms the lives of young people, beyond the court!
