AAO Border War Information
The AAO Border War is an invite-only girls basketball showcase designed for elite programs in the 13U–17U age divisions. Taking place in Northwest Arkansas on Saturday, April 11th – Sunday, April 12th, 2026, this premier event brings together the top girls’ teams from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and Texas for a weekend of intense competition and exposure. Known as one of the region’s most highly anticipated tournaments, Border War provides athletes the chance to compete against top-tier programs while performing in front of 70+ college coaches in attendance. This showcase is more than just a tournament—it’s an opportunity for young athletes to elevate their game, gain valuable recruiting exposure, and open doors to future playing opportunities at the collegiate level. With its combination of elite competition, professional organization, and strong college presence, the AAO Border War has become a must-attend event for serious girls’ basketball players and programs across the region.
